Hey modelpreneurs, welcome back to my channel. So in this video, we're going to talk about the top 10 highest paid models in the United States in 2021. So some of these are going to surprise you, okay? But let's just go straight to this video. With number 10, we have Liu Wen worth 18 million dollars. Okay. I hope I'm saying her name right. the first time I ever saw Liu Wen was on the catwalk of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2016 in Paris. Well, I wasn't in Paris, I was at my house at Woodbridge. I was like, Oh my God, this girl is beautiful. She was gorgeous on the screen. I was just like, Oh my God, I'm not surprised that she's even on this list. She's one of those Asian models to really look out for because of her very distinctive look, okay? So she's worked with really high ass brands like Estee Lauder, clothing brand called La Perla, I've never heard of them, but apparently in the bag. Okay. She's bomb. Let's move on to the next one.
Number nine on the list is Joan Smalls. I love Joan Smalls, she is so beautiful and she has made a name for herself as the runway expert. Her walk is popping first of all. So she's done a lot of catwalks more than a lot of her peers, so I think that her walk is popping like, what? And I didn't know she was Puerto Rican. So she's a Puerto Rican star. I learned that. I was like, okay, I didn't know, wow. So some of the brands that she's worked with, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Joe Fresh, Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, and more.
So number eight on the list is Bella Hadid. So I was very surprised that Bella Hadid was this low on the list because Bella Hadid is one of my favorite super models at the moment. She's amazing. So I was like, wait, why is she number eight? Something is going, no, I don't understand. Are you surprised? But yeah, Bella Hadid is also one of the youngest highest paid models in the world. She has over 22 million followers on Instagram, she's very influential on social media of course. She's the face of Bvlgari, she's the face on Dior and she's also the face of Tag, what is it called? Tag Heuer? Tag Heuer. I love Bella. I think she's a beautiful ass model.
Number seven on the list is her sister Gigi Hadid with 20 million. Gigi Hadid of course is the sister of Bella Hadid. Gigi Hadid was named international model of the year in 2006. She's 25 and she has achieved a lot throughout her years. I love Gigi Hadid but I love Bella more than Gigi. So I was very surprised that Bella was not higher on the list. I literally thought Bella was going to be at least number three, but we're talking about Gigi. Gigi has collaborator with a lot of big designers like Maybelline, Tommy Hilfiger, BMW, Topshop, and of course she has also a lot of followers on Instagram, big influence, I love it. Oh my God, I forgot, I wanted also to congratulate her on a new baby with Zayn. They haven't posted the baby yet, but I'm very excited to see how the baby is going to look. That baby is going to be pop, that baby is going to look so beautiful. I can't wait.
Number six on the list is Cara Delevingne with 31 million. I remember her as a model because I also remember seeing her on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but Cara has been doing a lot more movies, which I've been loving. She's an amazing actress. I love when models start getting into different things like acting, singing, and all that stuff. She first started modeling in 2009 when she was 10 years old and her first agency was called Stone Model Management. Cara also has been crowned model of the year by the British Fashion Awards. Some of the big brands that she's worked with are Dolce and Gabbana, Burberry, Mulberry, Jason Wu, and more.
So number five on the list is Adriana Lima. Adriana Lima with 31 million. I've actually met Adriana Lima. The first time I actually seen her was of course, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but I saw her at the prior party that I attended. She didn't look as tall as I expected her to be. I feel when you see celebrities on TV, it's like, whoa. No, she was beautiful, but I thought she was taller, she was literally my height. And I was just like, Oh my God. I wasn't really star-struck because I'm never really star-strucked. That was the first time that I ever saw her in person, and I said hi to her but I don't know if she remembers. I don't know if she remembers me. She's a Brazilian model, and she's known for the longest running angel of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show ever. She's been a spokesmodel for Maybelline since 2000. She was also modeled at the Super Bowl for Kia Motors in I think 2003 to 2009.
Number four on the list is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with 32 million. Rosie is the ultimate modelpreneur. A lot of English supermodels don't have a career like hers. She's a go-getter, she runs multiple businesses and she got the cutest face. You can't tell me Rosie doesn't have a cute ass face, what? Look at her face, it's so beautiful. So Rosie, she's a supermodel but she's also all about her business. Rosie reminds me of me, it's like, I want to model, but I also want to run businesses. So that's all I have to say about Rosie. Rosie is the ultimate modelpreneur, she's a boss. She's a modelpreneur bawse, we love that. Number three on the list is Gisele Bundchen with 35 million. So Gisele has been rocking the runway for two decades since the nineties. She is so beautiful. I think now she's retired and also she started getting into movies. I remember seeing her in The Devil Wears Prada, that's my motherfucking movie. Remember The Devil Wears Prada, the lady, the main lady, the main one, she was one of her assistants in the front desk. She's Brazilian, that's one thing, and she also retired like I mentioned. One thing that is so big about yourself is she has her own signature catwalk called the horse walk. And I actually really think it's cool. When you hear the horse walk, you're probably like, Oh, that sounds crazy. But I love how she walks, I love that walk, it's very unique. It's the way she stumps when she walks and I think it looks so beautiful when she walks. I want to be in the show when she's walking. I wonder if you can hear her stomping on the floor. But yeah, I love Gisele.
Number two on the list is Chrissy Teigen. I was like, what? But I'm not surprised she's on the list because Chrissy Teigen, I don't see her much of a model anymore, but she was a model, a big one. She was on Sports Illustrated cover, I remember that. She looks so good. I think that's kind of how her career blew up when she was on the cover. She takes her modeling very seriously and she's very specific about the brands that she works with and I think that's why her career is where it's at. And now she's gotten into cooking, she's an author and she was also in Lip Sync Battle. She's one of the hosts in Lip Sync Battle. I was very surprised when I saw that she was on the list for number two, but if you think about it, it's kind of combining everything that the models are doing because they're being modelpreneurs, you know what I mean? They're just not models, they're modelpreneurs. With Chrissy Teigen, she has a lot going on other than her being a model, so I think that's why she's number two.
So now we are getting to number one. So number one on the list with 40 million is Kendall Jenner. I was a little surprised when I saw that Kendall was on the list, but at the same time I wasn't surprised because obviously she's a Jenner, she's a Kardashian. I know she always hates when people say that the reason why her career it is what it is today is because she is a Kardashian/Jenner and she always talks about how she had to work extra, extra, extra hard, because people would just look at her like, you're a Jenner so yeah, you know what I mean? I get it but you're a Kardashian, you know what I mean? I don't want to sound like that, but that's just how I feel and I always speak my mind and I feel I should be speaking my mind, that's just my opinion on it. I think that Kendall is an amazing person, I haven't met her, but she seems out of all the Kardashians, she's my favorite.
Maybe she really had to work hard for everything that she has. I've seen modeling, I'm not talking about everything else. I'm talking about in the modeling industry. Yeah. So she is very influential on social media, made over $10 million in 2019, she's worked with big plants like Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, and many, many, many big brands. That's my opinion about why I think she is number one on the list. One thing I want you guys to take away from this video, if you are a model watching this right now, I just want you to really learn how to expand your income. A lot of these models are not on this list, for example, Chrissy Teigen, the reason she is where she is at is because she was able to use her platform to start her own businesses and start making money in that way.
So as a model, learn how to make money in different ways. If you are posting pictures on social media, you're blowing up, you have followers and stuff like that, just don't stay on social media, start figuring out how you can make money other than you booking gigs as a model. Start a business, start something, promote your other brand. You need to be able to get those followers that you have on your page that you are blowing off from with your modeling pictures and start creating a business with that and make money other than you being a model.
